From a young age, Mia has been captivated by the art of reimagining spaces within her home, infusing them with both functionality and beauty. This passion naturally led her to pursue a formal education in interior design.

Mia’s journey took a significant leap forward when she joined Bass Built Custom Homes as an intern during the spring semester of 2023. Here, she not only honed her skills but also delved into the intricacies of the Chief Architect program and Bass Built Custom Homes’ selections process.

Following the completion of her internship, Mia transitioned seamlessly into a full-time role, focusing her expertise on drafting. As she nears the completion of her Associates Degree in Interior Design at Cape Fear Community College in fall 2024, she is also pursuing additional certification in Kitchen and Bath Design Diploma.

Mia finds immense joy in the transformation process, seamlessly transitioning her client’s visions from 2D drawings to intricate 3D models, and finally witnessing their realization during the construction phase.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Mia cherishes moments spent with loved ones, often found soaking up the sun at the beach or embarking on spontaneous road trips, always with a trusty cup of coffee in hand.
