Meet the Builder
Bass Built is a family company that builds about three to six custom homes per year. This allows the company to maintain personal service and direct involvement with each client. Bryant and his wife, Barbara, are involved in the daily activities of the company, from the office to the details and oversight of the construction process. Our involvement insures all of the homes are built to the highest quality standards that have given us our reputation for outstanding homes and customer satisfaction.
Bryant Bass has been in the building industry since 1992. He attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC for Construction Management. He has been a resident and active member of the Wilmington area since 1995 when starting his career as an Assistant Project Manager for a commerical developing conglomerate. He started his own company after three years encompassing the framing and remodeling of both commercial and residential structures. In 2002, he became a North Carolina licensed General Contractor specializing in coastal construction and piling residents. Bryant Bass is a true builder—not only a builder of structures, but also of long-lasting relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and associates. As a member of the community, he is a volunteer Fireman and Water Rescuer for Kure Beach and the neighbor of several satisfied clients.
Barbara Bass is an envirochemist previously working on the deconstruction of superfund sites as the Health & Safety consultant. She works with the clients in the design phase and as the finishing construction supervisor. She is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker and Realtor.
Our company is a member of the Cape Fear Association of Home Builders, the National Association of Home Builders and the Better Business Bureau.
We emphasize our "hands on" approach and attention to detail. To achieve this, Bass Built establishes close relationships with its clients in the early stages of the building process. We recognize that a custom home should ultimately reflect the individuality and lifestyle of its owner. We communicate with our clients during each phase of construction to create fluid transition and consistent quality to maximize client ease. Our weekly update emails will allow you to stay informed throughout the construction process.
